BJP leader Amit Shah has spoken of his optimism for the coming days ahead, saying he would have the country at its best.
Mr Shah had said on Thursday that the BJP would win the state polls in the state assembly elections on April 14.
“The party has made big gains in the polls.
They have a huge lead in the poll, and the people have spoken and I am optimistic.
I am confident,” Mr Shah said.
He was speaking to reporters in his office in the national capital.
“It will be a good day for us.
It is only a matter of time.
The state elections will be held by April 15.
It will be the first time in Kerala history that we will have a BJP government,” he said.
Mr Sharma said that he expected the BJP to win the seat from the Congress and that the government would take the necessary steps to make sure that the vote was conducted according to the law.
“There is a lot of hype surrounding the polls, but in reality, it will be very good for the BJP.
It should be a big boost for the party.
It has taken a huge leap forward.
The people have made their voice heard and I would hope that they would come out in force for their demand,” he added.
Mr Modi, who has come to power on a wave of popular anger after two years of ruling, has vowed to revive the fortunes of the economy and the state.
He has been battling a series of corruption scandals, which has cost him his political life and led to him being removed as prime minister.
